Registering Your Players
Deadline
The deadline to register for the 2024 season is February 7.
Trouble getting the registration to go through?
First, try logging out of the system and logging back in. If you are still unable to complete the registration online, call the Sports Connect Help Desk at: 1-866-258-3303 or AYSO at 424-221-7998 for assistance.
Registration fees
The fee is $65 for the first child ($20 of this is the national AYSO fee; the remaining $45 covers local costs, including uniform, field rental, and field supplies). There is a $5 discount for each additional child (up to 5 children).
Registrations must be completed and paid online through this website.
Fees cover our region’s costs for uniforms, AYSO national registration fees, and rental of playing fields. All coaches, referees, and board members volunteer their time to make AYSO possible in Johnstown.
Special note for new players:
Please note that you will need to upload a copy of your child's birth certificate into the system for age verification. (We do not need this for returning players).
Scholarship program
We are pleased to have a grant that to offer scholarships for families who find the cost of registration to be a financial hardship. To apply:
please click here: http://app.gjayso.org/scholarship/ . After that, please register your child(ren) on this site at the button above, all the way through to the section where credit card information is entered. This will get their registrations in the system where we can see them, and match with your scholarship application, and we will be in contact from there.
We are hoping parents and families can help us spread the word about the availability of these scholarships. Please, if you know of a family who might be able to benefit, let them know about this program. =======================
Refund policyThere will be NO REFUNDS after the first practice, barring medical release or moving out of the area.
If registration has occurred but the uniform was not ordered, we issue a 100% refund of the division fee only.
If the uniform was ordered, not issued and the players is dropping before the 1st practice we issue a 75% refund of the division fee only.
If the uniform was issued and the player is dropping before the 1st practice we issue a 50% refund of the division fee only.
Returning the uniform in an UNUSED condition MAY increase your refund amount if due to moving or medical condition and will be decided on a case by case basis with board approval.
In ALL CASES, the national AYSO fee of $20.00 is non-refundable (because AYSO national will not refund our region the money no matter the circumstance).

Uniform Policy:
You are solely responsible for adding the correct size of the uniform in our system. We order the uniform that matches the size you enter in our system. If it does not fit and you want another one then you are responsible for the shipping cost and uniform cost to have a new one made and delivered. You have the ability to log back in and correct the size, but do this before March 1, 2022.
